Appellate Litigation
Alberto focuses his practice in the areas of Florida administrative law and regulatory compliance, government contracts/procurement, complex commercial litigation, and appellate litigation. He practices all areas of Florida administrative law and appellate advocacy, including regulatory compliance, licensure, administrative complaints and disciplinary proceedings, government contracts, rulemaking, and rule challenges. His complex commercial litigation practice involves disputes in both state and federal courts.
Alberto received his undergraduate and master’s degrees in business administration from Florida International University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies. He is the founding member of the FIU Foundation’s Pathway to Philanthropy program, becoming the university’s youngest major donor at the age of twenty-two. He received his law degree from the Florida State University College of Law, where he served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy and as Associate Editor for the FSU Business Review.
Before entering private practice, Alberto was a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas D. Winokur of the Florida First District Court of Appeal. While in law school, he was chosen to serve as a Gubernatorial Fellow for the Executive Office of the Governor, assigned to the Florida Division of Emergency Management.
Raised in Miami, Alberto enjoys spending time with his wife and family, especially reading to his young daughter. In his spare time, Alberto coaches members of the FSU Law School Moot Court team.
